Software programming can be a challenge to the quickest of learners. With programming languages, coding practices and methodologies continuously evolving, learners are often challenged to obtain practical and hands-on experience with programming skills. Unlike other topics that can be learnt from reading books, software programming requires a user to touch-and-feel code and that in turn involves touching a keyboard and mouse; learning how to interpret what appears to be gobligook.
CodeSaw™ is our endeavor to help learners with software programming. It is a "virtual computer lab" that runs in a common Web browser. Learners can touch and feel code within a few moments of reading a concept within a very simple and non-threatening programming workspace. It is completely vendor-neutral and platform-neutral and is designed to provide a consistent learning experience across several of the commonly used languages available today.
We invite you to try CodeSaw and welcome your feedback. Before you do that, we must clarify that CodeSaw is not designed for experienced developers who are used to fancy IDE's. Even so, we believe everyone will appreciate how CodeSaw adds a completely new dimension to learning how to program. |
